Tierra del Fuego National Park
Leaving from the hotel, we head west where the Tierra del Fuego National Park is located.
This Park was created in 1960 and represents the southernmost protected natural area of the Argentine Republic, covering a 6-kilometer strip over the Beagle Channel and a total of 63,000 hectares.
During the tour we will visit the Acigami or Roca Lake, Lapataia Bay, among others, having the possibility of knowing the species of subantarctic forests that the National Park preserves, where red foxes, guanacos, rabbits, beavers and condors coexist.
Panoramic views of the Beagle Channel and its mountainous islands are also obtained.
We will visit the green lagoon, the Lapataia river, the Ovando river and we will also make a technical stop at a confectionery so that visitors can have whatever they want while enjoying the landscape through the windows.
Finally we will arrive at Lapataia Bay (end of National Route 3 and Pan-American) and there you can see numerous seabirds and the remains of a shell midden used by the first Yagan aborigines.

NATIONAL PARK + CITY TOUR "PRIVATE TOUR"

The beautiful Parque Nacional Tierra del Fuego, the world’s southernmost national park, is located 12 kilometers (approximately 7.5 miles) from Ushuaia city.
The tour includes a few "low-impact" guided walks of 15 minutes each, a 30-minute snack and restroom break, and the remainder of time in a comfortable van with your amazing guide.
In the way to the National park you will enjoy of a sightseeing of the End of the world city and different points of interest like:
• Civic Square, where the national flag was hoisted for the first time.
• The old Government House.
• Nuestra Señora de la Merced old Church.
• Old airport, from from where we will enjoy a panoramic view of the city and the mountain range that surrounds it.
• "La Mision" neighborhood.
• Las Hayas Hotel viewpoint in the middle of the mountain, where we will enjoy an amazing panoramic view of Ushuaia Bay, the Beagle Channel, the harbor and the Industrial neighborhood.
National Park Itinerary
• Scenic Bahia Ensenada, location of Unidad Postal del Fin Mundo where you will have the chance to have your passport stamped with a "Fin del Mundo" ("End of the World") souvenir passport stamp ($3 USD each)
• Stunning Lago Roca, where you will take a peaceful and charming walk—with magnificent photo opportunities—around part of the lake
• Centro de Visitantes, where you may purchase snacks and souvenirs while enjoying a panoramic view of the picturesque mountains, forest, and rivers
• Driving tour of Río Lapataia, Archipelago Cormoranes, Laguna Verde, and Río Ovando
• Bahia Lapataia and the end of Ruta Nacional 3, the most southern point of the Pan-American Highway, where you will be able to take photos at the famous sign marking the distance in kilometers between Ushuaia and Alaska.
