OPTION Nº 2  

 City Tour La Serena & Coquimbo:

Stories of pirates and bell towers (5 hours)

 We pick you up from the Coquimbo port to visit the highlights of La Serena and Coquimbo.

First we will go toward the capital of the región, La Serena, to visit the light house, simbol of the city .  

After that we will go to the down-town to see the architecture of this peaceful city, the Archeological Museum with a nice collection of Diaguitas pottery, the craft center La Recova and finally we will go up to the University of La Serena to see a landscape of the city from the top of the hill.

Back to Coquimbo we will  vist the English Quarter with their old houses and mansions of the begining of the XIX century.  Later a stop in the Fuerte Lambert, a fortress built to defend the city against the attack of pirates.

Then we continous into the Third Millennium Cross in the highest part of the city, a memorial of the Christian faith, from their arms you can see all the Coquimbo bay.

Finally, we come back to the port.
