OPTION Nº 1 

Elqui Valley: Land of sun, pisco and stars (7 hours)

We pick you up from Coquimbo Port around 8:00 -8:30 am.

We will travel from coast until the premountain range, following the the elqui´s river course, appreciating the physical and human geography of this beautiful valley.

On the way we will visit  a local store with products made out with one of the typical fruits of La Serena:  papayas. Later on we head to the Puclaro dam, also to the city of Vicuña, a local Ice cream factory with a tasting of them.

The tour also includes a walk through an artisan Pisco Distillery to know the process of this typical liquor of the region. Later we will have lunch at a typical local Restaurant.

After that we start the return trip back to La Serena.
